Counseling for the brokenhearted pursuing lasting change
Session Fee: $80
Accepting in-person and virtual clients in Missouri
Hi, I’m Julia.
I believe that we are meant for connection. The loss of connection - or access to it - is painful and disruptive. A significant focus in the work that I do is helping you gain new experiences and find new language that allows you to move toward the connection with yourself or others that you long for.
One of my favorite things about therapy is being able to foster lasting change in a family or individual. Helping people figure out what their weaknesses are and where their greatest pains come from is something that I am extremely passionate about. It can be difficult to get to the root of the problem when you’re in it alone. Sometimes having a third-party there to help you figure out what is going on in your relationships can be transformational.
Education + Training:
BA in Psychology from Life Pacific University.
Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Avila University.
Areas of Clinical Interest:
I sit with people in their inter-relational crises. Sometimes these are crises related to external relationships (like a partner, parent, child, or friend) and sometimes we find ourselves in crisis over our relationship to ourselves. Regardless, I am here to help you: Teens - Adults - Individuals - Couples - Family systems.
I work with an array of issues including anxiety, depression, life transition, relationship challenges, sexuality, identity, spirituality, and religious trauma.
